Information for High Definition and Digital TV Suppliers and Manufacturers
The "HD Tick" Logo is a trade mark
owned by Ai Group. The 'HD Tick" Logo may only be applied
by licensed suppliers that certify the compliance of their digital
TVs with specific criteria.
Here is the 10 step guide to suppliers or manufacturers
of High Definition digital TVs wanting to use the "HD Tick"
Logo.
Step 1:
Download the "HD
Tick" Logo Licence Agreement
Step 2:
Complete the enquiry
form on this website advising Ai Group of your intention
to complete the Licence Agreement. Ai Group will provide you
with hard copies of the Licence Agreement including your company's
details.
Step 3:
Complete and submit the "HD Tick" Logo Licence Agreement.
Step 4:
Ai Group will invoice your company for the annual licence fee
(see article 5 of the Licence Agreement).
Step 5:
Complete the checklist for compliance with the minimum requirements
of the Australian digital receiver standard (available to licensees
on request). If licensee requires, independent HD Tick compliance
testing is available through Australian
Digital Testing Pty Limited.
Step 6:
Complete and sign the "HD
Tick" Test Record for each product you are certifying
as meeting the "HD Tick" Logo minimum requirements.
Step 7:
Provide an electronic copy of the 'HD Tick" Test Record
to Ai Group. This will be used as a reference document for updating
the website products list.
Step 9:
Download the "HD
Tick" Logo Usage and Style guide and high resolution
images of the "HD Tick" Logo
Step 9:
Print and affix the 'HD Tick" logo
to the specific screen models that have been certified
Step 10:
Keep all testing documentation in safekeeping to respond to
any audit enquiries by Ai Group
